Kia Orana!

Kia Orana can be used as a greeting or a goodbye because it means ‘may you live long’ – and visitors to the Cook Islands could well live longer simply because they have experienced the lack of stress known as ‘island time’.

Welcome to Cook Islands A to Z, the simple guide to what the Cooks have to offer and make your vacation as rewarding as possible.

The beautiful beaches, blue-green lagoons, swaying palm trees and friendly locals will undoubtedly seduce you. Whether it’s romance, soft adventure or a family holiday you’re looking for, there’s an array of quality island accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets.

This is a thumbnail guide to the Cooks, along with some quirky, personal observations. It has been written for a ‘fun’, entertaining read as well as factual information.

All prices are in the local currency, the New Zealand dollar (see Currency Conversion, of course!). If you have any questions about The Cook Islands, Fiji, Samoa, Vanuatu or cruising the Pacific please contact us.

Meitaki ma’ata (thank you).

(And a huge Meitaki ma’ata to Sabine from The Dive Centre Rarotonga for help with updating the site!)

Find your place, feel relaxed and enjoy the majesty of the Cook Islands.
