OÓtu Beach

This Aitutaki beach is home to Samade Bar & Restaurant. It is a sheltered beach, perfect for swimming but be sure to leave before sunset when the sandflies come out. SDamade on the Becah is bow known as Aitutaki Village.

Orovaru Beach

Apart from being the beach on the island of Atiu where Captain Cook landed in April 1777, this is really only here to keep the other beach and the Overwater Bungalows company because apparently things look better in threes.

Overwater Bungalows

The only overwater bungalows (7) in the Cook Islands are at the Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa and these aren’t ‘overwater’ like the ones you have probably seen photos of in French Polynesia. The backsides of these units are firmly attached to the shore, but you can get into the lagoon from your balcony.
